The Game Dev Heroes Awards are a celebration of the unsung heroes of the games industry, recognising the efforts of those working behind the scenes.

Nominated by devs and judged by devs and past winners, GDH is all about bringing the industry's people together and celebrating the talent that runs deep through the industry.

This is more important now than ever, which is why we’re determined for the show to go on!

GDH is a friendly and relaxed event, set well apart from business networking events and very much towards hanging out with a room full of new friends and fellow industry folks.

​This will be a great evening to chill out and meet up with others working across the industry.

​Following the introduction of paid tickets for GDH 2024, we'll be continuing to offer the option to purchase paid tickets, allowing us to invest back in the event to keep it running.

7:30pm: The fun continues with drinks and music

​Dress code is smart casual in a ‘nice-but-comfortable’ sense.

​The venue is air-conditioned, but you’re by the seaside, it’s summer, it’s probably warm out and you’re inside with a load of other people. Wear what’s best for you.

​If you're a finalist, then please let us know as soon as possible if you're unable to attend for any other reason.

​Admittance is strictly for over 18s. ID may be required at the door and bar.

​A selection of free refreshments will be available at the bar.

​There will be a photographer on site taking pictures of the award winners, attendees, and general crowd shots throughout the evening. If you would prefer not to be included in any photos, please let us know in advance of the event.

Ticket transaction will show as YOKO MEDIA LTD in your bank statements.

Unfortunately, we have limited capacity, but once all of the finalists and ticket-holders have been confirmed, we’ll be giving tickets to waiting list members!

This paid ticket option gives you the chance to support the event and the finalists who have been nominated. It includes:

For those who have a little more to give and want to get more involved with the event, a Patron ticket will get you:

- Guaranteed entry
- 2 Complimentary drinks 
- Added to our patron judge panel with a collective vote on next year’s GDH winners
- Added to our patron list which is published on our website and social channels
- A special mention on the night of the event

For the first time ever, we’re launching a limited-edition Game Dev Heroes t-shirt featuring a custom design using this year’s colour palette!

We wanted to create a unique memento, so these t-shirts will only be available for event attendees and will never be printed again!
