Reese and Xio will share their views on being generalists as well as ask you about what you believe a generalist is.

After transitioning out of education, Reese is living the generalist dream at Arcade, a sales gamification startup. You can also find Reese chiming in on brand & pitch strategy for early-stage startups, supporting her local community as a House Reader at Ritualcravt, and contributing to Cabin, a DAO that is creating a network city.

Formerly a therapist, neuroscience researcher, tech sales maven, and founder of a mental health tech startup, Xio is now the founder of The Yama Mara, a place where people can rearchitect their emotional reality and learn about how ceremony + ritual can enhance their emotional well-being.

So it looks like my business is going to fail. Well... It's become unprofitable enough to support myself and my co-founder, and would probably just suit him as a lifestyle business at this point. 4 years, a pandemic and more all nighters than I can count (I handled all the ops)! I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'll be needing employment or a new team to join through winter. Burned through a lot of savings saying 'Just one more deal and we'll be back on track'!

I'm in good spirits, but what a strange day. Maybe I can reach out to the rest of the group for guidance on where I might best fit next!
