Sonja holds a master's degree in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania. Her passion for education has led her to work in admissions offices at Columbia and UPenn, and later serve as the Director of International Programs at Penn's Graduate School of Education, where she crafted specialized programs for scholars from China, Egypt, Japan, and South Korea. Furthermore, Sonja has extensive experience as a college counsellor at prestigious independent schools across China, Jordan, Singapore, and the United States.

Recognizing the challenges inherent in the college application process, Sonja firmly believes that with the right guidance and support, it can be a rewarding journey of self-discovery and personal growth as students find their ideal college match.
