The California 9-11 Memorial, located in Clovis, CA was built by Pelco and spearheaded by then CEO David McDonald, as a permanent monument to honor and remember the 2,977 people killed during the most horrific terrorist attack in history. Each year a group of committed citizens, first responders, and military personnel perform a ceremony steeped in service traditions for the victims of September 11th. This commemoration ceremony and the dedicated monument are the largest of their kind outside of New York City. Join the Clovis Chamber of Commerce as we have an in-depth conversation with Anna Borgeas, Executive Director of the California 9/11 Memorial organization. We will learn about the genesis of this memorial, the evolution and expansion, and the memorial site, and what is in store for the 20th anniversary ceremony this year.
