Certificate Workshop on American Law
Boston University School of Law is hosting a free Certificate Workshop on American Law. The duration of the workshop is 2 hours, and the events will be conducted on 8 and 15 November, 2022. Certificates will be issued to students who attend both events.
The workshop will be conducted on the following topics:
Event 1
Introduction to US Legal Writing Fundamentals - This session will serve as a guide to legal writing in the United States for international students and professionals.
Event 2
Structure and Functioning of the Judiciary in the US: A Primer - This session is designed to provide law students with an insight into the workings of the judicial system in the United States, with emphasis on the hierarchy of courts, and the process of appointment of judges in the US.
The sessions will be presented by Ms. Maureen Leo, Director and Lecturer of Law, American Law Program, Boston University School of Law.
