​Elle Griffin writes the popular newsletter The Elysian, and is the author of the forthcoming book We Should Own The Economy: A Vision for the Future of Capitalism. In this speculative discussion, we'll discuss how Silicon Valley got rich, how private ownership of capital benefited workers, why we need to create more owners of it today, and how companies and our economy could work better for everyone. Come prepared for an imaginative discussion on what the next Silicon Valley should look like—one where innovation and capital are better shared, and prosperity better distributed. This session will be moderated by Cissy Hu, our GM at The Commons, and author of More Myself.
