Immad is the co-founder and CEO of Mercury, a financial technology company he established in 2017 to provide banking services tailored for startups. Prior to Mercury, Immad co-founded Heyzap, a mobile advertising network acquired by Fyber in 2016. He also served as a part-time partner at Y Combinator and has invested in over 300 startups, including Airtable, Rappi, and Substack. In March 2025, Mercury secured a $300 million Series C funding round led by Sequoia Capital, doubling its valuation to $3.5 billion.
