Speaker
Margarita Geleta
Margarita specializes in generative AI, genomics, and steganography. Her research has been presented at prestigious AI conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, AAAI, ICASSP, and ASHG.
Currently, Margarita is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist in the Home Innovation Team, specializing in large-scale generative models.
Margarita is an active participant in San Francisco’s tech scene – she has led the San Francisco Techstars community, served as a public head in the CS Berkeley Entrepreneurs Association, and organized several tech+MBA mixers, conferences, and hackathons, including Techstars Startup Weekend San Francisco AI 2023, AI Nexus with Berkeley SkyDeck, and the MadHats.ai conference in 2024.
