​Margarita Geleta

​Margarita specializes in generative AI, genomics, and steganography. Her research has been presented at prestigious AI conferences such as NeurIPS, CVPR, AAAI, ICASSP, and ASHG.

Currently, Margarita is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, she worked at Amazon as an Applied Scientist in the Home Innovation Team, specializing in large-scale generative models.

Margarita is an active participant in San Francisco’s tech scene – she has led the San Francisco Techstars community, served as a public head in the CS Berkeley Entrepreneurs Association, and organized several tech+MBA mixers, conferences, and hackathons, including Techstars Startup Weekend San Francisco AI 2023, AI Nexus with Berkeley SkyDeck, and the MadHats.ai conference in 2024.
