​​On behalf of the Far Western Region and our Regional Director, Soror Nichole Starr Jordan, we are honored to invite you to attend the 26th Annual California AKA Day at the Capitol, taking place on Sunday, May 18 and Monday, May 19, 2025, in Sacramento, California.

​​This year’s theme, “My Voice, Our Power: AKA Women Leading Legislative Change,” calls us to action during a time when the collective voice of Black women is both powerful and necessary. For 26 years, we have convened in our state’s capital to advocate for equity, justice, and policies that uplift the communities we serve. Our longstanding partners, including members of the California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) and their staff, are excited to welcome us back for another impactful convening.
