NY #TechWeek - Female Founders on Mindful Drinking: Panel + Happy Hour
Calling all founders, operators and investors! Join us for an open conversation on the consumer trends and behaviors driving interest in mindful drinking approaches. We'll do a deep dive into health and lifestyle motivators, such as improved gut health, better sleep and a more creative dating experience.
The event will kick off with a happy hour featuring non-alcoholic and low-ABV drinks, followed by a female founder panel and Q&A session. The panel will be moderated by Dana Smith, VP, Health Content, Condé Nast, and feature Katie Garry, founder/CEO of Seek, Meeta Gournay, co-founder of Three Spirit, and Jessie Urvater, founder/CEO of Club Pillar.
Dana Leigh Smith - Dana is currently the Vice President and Content Lead for Condé Nast, overseeing sponsored health editorial across the publisher’s portfolio. She has previously held director-level positions at Hearst and Dotdash Meredith and has written and edited content for countless editorial and consumer sites, including Nike, HUM Nutrition, Shape, Women's Health, Glamour, Prevention, and Popsugar. She earned her degree in Public Health at Syracuse University.
Seek - Seek is the first at-home lab test that measures how alcohol impacts women's health. Backed by clinicians from Penn, Rutgers, Mount Sinai and UCLA Health, Seek's mission is to help women identify early indicators of alcohol-related disease before a diagnosis (and feel better along the way).
