Running Effective Internal Meetings

​“This meeting could have been an email.”

​It’s not just a quirky saying people put on coffee mugs. Every day there are SDRs and AEs who trudge into a team meeting or 1-on-1 thinking “I could be making dials” or “this is a waste of our time” or “they better provide lunch this time.”

​Despite those thoughts, internal meetings - especially in a remote world - are still incredibly important. From tracking goals to rooting out roadblocks to enabling your reps, these meetings can be pivotal to ensuring your team is rowing the boat in the same direction.

​But how we plan, execute, and follow up on these meetings needs to change.

​For this onDemand event, we brought in Karlie Morien Bliss of Logixboard to talk about her internal team meeting structure.

​By setting clear expectations, staying vigilant about documentation, and passing some responsibility to her reps, she’s developed a simple system to help her team get the most out of their weekly meetings.

​Managers and Leaders will come out of this 30-minute session with a new outlook on running effective internal meetings as well as a document to help shake up current internal meeting practices.
