You’re invited to join us in Stamford CT on Friday morning February 21, from 8:00-11am, for our “Unscrambled Eggs” edition. As always, our sessions are by invitation, in-person and free-of-charge.
M&A Fundraising Outlook
Kicking off the Forum will be Paul McCaffery, Managing Director, Investment Banking at Keefe Bruyette & Woods (KBW) with a discussion on the current environment for fundraising, capital markets and regulatory in the cryptodigital asset and FinTech spaces.
JP Morgan himself famously said “you can’t unscramble an egg.” But it’s a different fundraising environment from when Paul joined us a year ago and asked if companies in the digital asset space were living in “la-la land” dreaming of 2021 valuations. And he proved right to ask.
And now, with apologies to JP, perhaps the digital asset market IS unscrambling that egg. Certainly industry players can breath again with the end of Chokepoint 2.0. And on the capital markets / funding front, deal activity is up and pipelines are growing. Still, there are concerns and potential road bumps ahead. Paul will provide his special brand of thoughtful, clear-eyed analysis, which you won’t want to miss.
Digital Asset Investment Outlook and Predictions
Also returning to our stage is Matthew Sigel, Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck. With a depth of knowledge in the fast-growing digital assets ecosystem, Matthew will share his latest research, analysis and insights with the Forum, exploring the current trends and disruptive business models that continue to emerge from this rapidly evolving space.
