The Slide - TAKEOVER #4

​For TAKEOVER #4, Jiwa will premiere "Slide," the debut work from his algorithmic illustration system. Slide is both a physical and real-time digital installation, featuring interactive elements that invite audience participation.

​We warmly welcome you to the vernissage on Thursday, 12 September. The exhibition will then be open to the public from Friday, 13 September through Sunday, 15 September, with daily visiting hours from 1 PM to 5 PM.

​Jiwa is a predominantly code-based artist, creating systems to tell narratives about inner worlds. Previous works include PETLS, a five-chapter generative narrative, Axo released on Art Blocks, and recently, EVENT, a collaboration with contemporary artist Bernar Venet, releasing on Sotheby's in the fall.

​As always, TAKEOVER #4 at Bright Moments Berlin Gallery is hosted by Anna Lucia and Julian Hespenheide. ​Coming from a long tradition of squatting ("besetzen") or taking over spaces during the 80s and 90s, TAKEOVER is an artist-led initiative in the former Bright Moments Gallery in Berlin.
