Reinventing Education: Teaching for Creativity

Are you an educator with a passion for delivering inspiring learning journeys for your students? Are you frustrated by the current education paradigm, and are seeking an alternative?

This series is for you.

Join an inspiring community of educators and innovators, whose mission is to reinvent how we deliver education globally.

Teaching for Creativity 🎨

Teaching creatively differs from teaching for creativity: while the former refers to new, imaginative methods to make learning more effective, the latter entails teaching young minds to embrace creative thinking and behavior (Source: NACCCE Report). Even though they are different, both methods work together to achieve a common goal: future-readiness and solution-oriented thinking for future generations.

Teaching for creativity brings an array of challenges. Understanding creativity and its pedagogical value, and ensuring that it fits the right teaching standards, can pose a challenge for any inspired teacher.

To dive deep into the topic of teaching for creativity, we'll discuss pressing questions such as:

  • How do we overcome the limitations of a standardized curriculum to allow for creativity?

  • What does the learning process for creativity look like compared to traditional learning?

  • What are some of the tools that each educator, whether formal or informal, can employ to encourage creative thinking?

For Educators All Over the World 🌍 This (free) event is open to all educators, anywhere in the world!
