About Event

As weather extremes escalate, scientists and official bodies recommend researching atmospheric particle dispersal to reduce heat energy in the Earth system. New findings suggest that recent declines in particulate pollution—an accidental form of this effect—may have increased heat energy. Enhancing our ability to monitor and predict atmospheric particle effects is critical to global security, economic prosperity, and public safety. Join an exclusive gathering of scientists, government officials, philanthropists, and industry partners to discuss data gaps, risk management, the transformative potential of science-driven innovations, and the urgency of research and data gathering on large-scale atmospheric influences of particles.

We're thrilled to co-host this session with SilverLining, a nonprofit founded in 2018 to ensure a safe and secure planet by advancing research to manage near-term Earth systems risks and possible responses, promote economic and global security, and protect communities and natural lands.
