About Event
Join us for a special opportunity to meet Gabriella Karin, one of the survivors featured in the Snap Collective book “Borrowed Spotlight.” Gabriella was born in 1930 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. During the Holocaust, she spent nine months living in a convent under false identity papers and later hid with seven others in the apartment of Karol Blanar, a courageous young lawyer who risked his life to save them.
This powerful testimony will be followed by an engaging Q&A session.
The event is hosted by the Holocaust Museum LA — Snap Collective is sharing it as an important opportunity to connect with history and with one of the survivors whose story is told in “Borrowed Spotlight.”
