About Event

This year, we observe October 1 as the day Native & Indigenous women catch up to their white male counterparts. Native & Indigenous women working full time, year round make roughly $0.57 for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic men. In other words, Native women must work nearly 22 months longer to earn what a White man makes in one year. It's time to level up Indigenous womxn's earning potential and decolonize the payroll.

This virtual talking circle & workshop event is for Native & Indigenous womxn in (or aspiring to be in) tech and their allies. Learn from and with our pay equity squad and stay for a workshopping session on the following actionable topics:

-Demystifying Compensation Packages: Understanding Salary, Equity, & Benefits -Navigating Job Searches: Stepping into your Candidate Power & Prioritizing Right Fit -Valuing Yourself: Being Cold and Confident and Growing your Network. NOTE: If you will be staying for a Fireside Chat, please designate your topic preference so we can place you in your chosen breakout group by completing this quick form: https://forms.gle/EjKuH1ZLdoU7uMZs6
