Topic: Building with AI as a Student Founder
A moderated conversation on how student entrepreneurs can leverage AI to spark ideas, validate concepts, and build innovative products—often as solo or small teams. Panelists will explore current tools, creative workflows, and challenges like hallucinations and prompt engineering, while sharing practical resources and insights for aspiring founders.

Daryl Png, Regional Vice President, Singapore Global Network, EDB
Daryl is the Regional Vice President of SGN (Singapore Global Network), a division within the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), where he oversees Americas and Europe to help build linkages to global business and talent communities to enhance the international mindshare of Singapore as a leading globally-connected city.
Before SGN, Daryl was Assistant Vice President in EDB’s New Ventures team, where he co-built new ventures alongside corporates, scale-ups, and startups intending to create new global businesses out of Singapore. His team is also responsible for launching strategic initiatives and solutions to elevate the venturing ecosystem in Singapore. Before joining EDB, Daryl co-founded an online worldwide car rental platform, which was acquired, and held roles in leading financial institutions such as AIG and OCBC Bank, focusing on product, strategy, and innovation functions.
Akshayee Singh, Co-founder @ Bruin AI and UCLA Alum
Akshyae Singh is the co-founder of Bruin AI at UCLA. He was responsible for scaling Bruin AI to one of the most popular organizations at UCLA, which has over 40 team members. Currently, he’s working on building an Intercollegiate network of AI Talent to connect them to industry. In the past, He has worked with NASA and KPMG in digital transformation, PM, and Sales. Additionally, he’s worked on several projects in the media and sustainability space, scaled teams, and been recognized on national news in India, getting several awards for his work.
Jorden Pork, AI Marketing Consultant at BCG
Jorden is a UCLA Communications and Computing major with extensive experience in the social media and digital marketing space. She has generated over 100 million views and scaled multiple social media accounts for brands and personal ventures alike. Her entrepreneurial journey includes growing an e-commerce brand from the ground up to over $200K in revenue through organic TikTok marketing. Jorden has partnered with top-tier brands such as Pixi Beauty, Allure, and Fashion Nova to launch high-impact content campaigns. She currently works with Boston Consulting Group on AI-driven marketing initiatives and conducts research at UCLA on emitted emotion impact on the creation of viral short-form video content.

Jiajun Ma is the founder of a travel startup and has held multiple roles across the venture capital ecosystem. As a senior at UCLA majoring in Mathematics/Economics, Jiajun is passionate about prompt engineering and is a firm believer of ‘lazy questions lead to lazy responses.’
