"Ghost in the Shell" is a significant milestones of anime history.
Motoko Kusanagi is a cyborg, her body owned by Section 9, Japan's paramilitary cybercrime police division. "Ghost in the Shell" is a multilayered, action packed affair that deals with questions of identity, self construction, AI agency, and the politics of AI infused societies.
