About Event

The sharp end of winning change for a coalition or campaign is having effective messaging that can move either the public, decision making elites, or both, in the direction of your aims. But the exact models to develop proven approaches are often confusing, unclear and expensive.

In this workshop we, at Future Narratives Lab, will draw upon our experience working with coalitions to explore the most effective ways to develop and test messaging that effectively influences public and elite audiences.

This workshop is the third, and final, in a series of three free workshops from Future Narratives Lab, entitled Effective Narratives & Messaging for Coalitions.

Our Guest Speaker for this workshop will be Marloes Nicholls, Head of Policy & Advocacy at Finance Innovation Lab.

This session is for you if:

  • You work in communications and campaigning

  • Your organisation is part of a coalition

  • You want to learn more about developing and testing messaging to influence publics and elites

Our aim is for participants to leave with a set of concrete examples and methodologies they can use to inform their future work, and specific practical progress on their own organisational approach.

You can find out more details on the first workshop on 27th November (Creating a Compelling Narrative for a Diverse Coalition) & second workshop on 4th December (Translating Complex Research into Powerful Stories) here and here.
