​🚀 Exploring Kroma's Advances in Blockchain Technology

​Event Overview

​Kroma is Korea’s first Ethereum Layer 2 solution based on the OP Stack. It inherits Ethereum’s high security while offering significantly lower fees and higher throughput. This reduces entry barriers for building Web3 ecosystems and leverages the rich Ethereum ecosystem.

​The Kroma team has implemented its own Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Fault Proof System by modifying the OP Stack and operates a permissionless validator network on Layer 2, a world first. Recently, Kroma joined the Superchain, aligning its development strategy to directly contribute improvements and features to the OP Stack. This aims to benefit a broader range of chains using the OP Stack with Kroma’s innovations.

​In this meetup, we will introduce Kroma’s development strategies and focus areas. We aim to share and discuss our challenges with blockchain industry developers. Topics will include Native Account Abstraction, our modular ZK proof generation library Tachyon, and Kroma’s transition strategy to ZK rollups.
