About Event

Welcome to our first VIRTUAL Quantum Computing Workshop!

Students will get an intro to Quantum Computing and have an opportunity to play with Jupyter Notebooks on a real Quantum Computer!

The Institute for Insight at Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business is conducting an introductory quantum computing workshop at the Buckhead Center. The Institute for Insight has invited experts from IQM to provide a hands-on introduction to QC concepts, algorithms and methods.

IQM is a leader in quantum computing (QC) hardware development in Europe, known for its elegant hardware designs and its IQM Radiance, Spark, and Resonance solutions with up to 150 super-conducting qubits. John Bernart and Kristine Rezai from IQM will walk through and facilitate this introduction and hands-on coding exercises in quantum computing.

In an era of AI predominance, applying new quantum-enhanced and quantum-inspired techniques in computation and advancing AI via quantum machine learning form the logical next step in solving complex use cases of today that cannot be solved via classical methods alone. Kristine Rezai from IQM will introduce to quantum computing theory, practice and applications and will guide participants through a hands-on quantum computing coding experience!

This event is open to the public. Please join us for this unique and fun learning experience!
