The Neurodivergent Circle Meet-up
Join our meetup where you can (hopefully) finally just BE, without the exhausting mental gymnastics and constantly needing to translate yourself to fit into a world that wasn't designed for your brain.
As someone diagnosed with ADHD and autism later in life, I know firsthand how it feels to suddenly have to reconfigure your entire identity and navigate a whole new way of understanding yourself. From figuring out who to tell about your diagnosis, to learning how to advocate for your needs, to dealing with well-meaning people who just don't quite understand – it can feel overwhelming and isolating.
That's why I'm creating this community. Because sometimes you just need to be around people who "get it" without having to explain yourself!
What to expect:
A welcoming, sensory-mindful environment where stimming is welcome and breaks are encouraged
Genuine connections with other neurodivergent individuals who understand the unique joys and challenges we face
No pressure to mask or perform neurotypical social expectations
Freedom to engage in conversation in whatever way feels natural to you
Community Guidelines:
This is a safe space for all neurodivergent individuals, regardless of where you are in your journey
We have zero tolerance for discrimination, ableism, or harmful language
Respect others' boundaries and communication preferences
Share only what you're comfortable sharing – no pressure to disclose diagnoses or personal details
Practice empathy and understanding, as everyone's neurodivergent experience is unique
If you're feeling nervous about attending (I get it), feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns. I'm here to help make this experience as comfortable as possible for everyone.
