About Event

Make meaningful proposals with no coding required!

Shrink 6 months of proposal-making research and work into a 2-day sprint!

Are you tired of remote-only, asynchronous virtual collaboration?  ​​While virtual collaboration is great, nothing is better than meeting in real life and working on shared goals together!

Schedule

Community breakfast 8am each day to get us all there early, fueled up and good to go.

​Days 1-2: Governance Bootcamp


​​Hackathon-like experience. Make real progress on proposals, key ideas, and workstreams by giving builders live access to crucial DAO members.

  • ​​Dedicated to DAO contributors

  • ​​Representatives from projects on Arbitrum with domain knowledge present to consult with on your idea

  • ​​Teams break out, work on proposals and initiatives, and present their findings to all other participants

  • ​20k in prizes

  • Match-making with grant program providers for post GovHack ongoing support

​​Day 3: Arbitrum Community Open Day

  • Demos from existing Arbitrum projects

  • ​​Top 5 hackathon finalists live pitch

  • ​​Lunch + Prize Giving from the Hackathon​

  • ​Expert Panels

  • ​​Networking & match-making for long-term success, form alliances in the room.

  • Dedicated After-party for all those who attended

Note that there is an application process for attending! We have limited capacity and need to balance the event by different participant types/teams, etc, so it's a fair and balanced representation.

​​Apply to get your spot. We aim to assess and approve people within 72 hours.

​​Scholarship opportunity!

Have a proposal in mind but can't attend GovHack Brussels due to financial constraints? 

Don’t worry, Arbitrum is family, we’ve got your back.

We're thrilled to offer 20 reimbursement scholarships, each worth $500 USD for travel and accommodation expenses.

How do they work?

You purchase your tickets and accommodation, attend the event, and then submit “proof of expenses” for reimbursement.
