Building Bridges of Interests - A Holistic Education Through Passions
Chris is a passionate educator. When he was a director at Green School in Bali, he oversaw the programming and development. One of Green School's pillar in education is to consolidate a child's learning for the year through a research project. They call them Greenstone for High School (17 - 18 year olds) and Quest for Middle School (13 - 14 year olds). The middle school children do a 3 - 4 month project, while the high school students work on a year long project. The projects culminate in a final Ted talk-style presentation. Chris has trained mentors and supported many children in their passion projects. He helped mentors, largely made up of parents and volunteers, view the importance of sharing of their business, work or passion and inspiring children towards their own projects. We look forward to hear Chris share with us tips on how we can support our children to be authentic about what they believe in and be an active participant in their learning through projects they are passionate about.
Chris spent 6 years in Singapore before moving to Bali, and sat on many advisory boards. He understands the education landscape in Singapore, having spoken with many schools and regulatory authorities. He now splits his time between Bali and the US.

Testimonial on Community Connect Sessions
Hi Sheryl, I enjoyed the session. I was curious to meet others in the community and was grateful for the sharing, to know that I’m not alone and to get practical tips on how to manage my own challenges. As moms, we tend to be hard on ourselves and I wanted so much to help where I can by sharing and encouraging others. - Kristy
Having a community of people going through the same things and knowing you are not alone is deeply encouraging. Sheryl's session jolted me back into the moment and into the big picture to give me practical action to take immediately. - Adila
Testimonial on Family Support Chats
Before the session, I was feeling rather lost as all my child wanted to do was meeting her friends. After talking things out with Sheryl, I felt much better, with a clearer direction and expectation of our coming weeks. It was a meaningful session as she is a good listener with great realistic tips and understood our concerns with our 5 year old. Thank you Sheryl - Selma, mother of 3
Thank you so much for the 1-1 family coaching session. It was a great space for me to start thinking about my goals for my family. I appreciate your skillful and gently coaching. Going to where the child is and giving encouragement and guidance for him to develop at his own pace. I've learnt great tips on how to help my children 😃 - Zhen Xin, mother of 4
