About Josh
Josh Felser is a serially successful entrepreneur and investor in the general technology and climate tech sectors. As the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Climactic, he brings his wealth of experience to drive innovation in early-stage climate tech startups seeking to help the Enterprise decarbonize and reduce emissions. Prior, Josh co-founded Freestyle Capital, where he sourced or invested in the unicorns: Airtable, Patreon, Betterup, and Intercom. He was a pioneer in the early days of the Internet where he co-founded Spinner, the first Internet music startup, acquired by AOL for $320 million, and Crackle, a viral video startup, acquired by Sony for $65 million.
Josh’s commitment to the environment is long standing; he started a nonprofit app in 2014, to connect influencers (NBA, Guns N Roses, Mark Ruffalo, Al Gore, Evan Williams…) to the most important climate actions from the leading nonprofits. As a testament to his commitment to public service, he co-founded a public/private task force for the Governor of California, to help the State of California better source private company solutions to many of the challenges arising from the COVID-19 crisis.
Josh holds an MBA in Marketing and a BA in Political Science from Duke University. Beyond his professional achievements, he is a champion of mental health, meditator, avid hiker and paddleboarder, and even mixes it up as a DJ.
This fireside chat will be between Josh Felser and Leslie Feinzaig, founder and Managing Director of Graham & Walker. In 2017, she founded the Female Founders Alliance, the largest and most engaged community of its kind in America, and its popular founder programs, dubbed “the YC for Female Founders” by Techcrunch. Leslie is a contributing writer at Fortune Magazine, Fast Company and Techcrunch. She was named one of Forbes Magazine's Most Powerful Women from Central America, Worth Magazine’s Worthy 100, Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40, and Seattle Magazine's Most Influential People. Born and raised in Costa Rica, Leslie moved to the US to attend Harvard Business School on a full scholarship. She now lives in Seattle with her husband and two young daughters
