Our Agenda for August 26th
5pm-6pm: Arrival, open networking with participants.
6pm: Our panel in August will be with two Software company co-founders and a Managing Partner in a local Investment Fund.
We'll be speaking with Mike Coelho, CFO and Partner in Zumasys, a growing ERP Software business. Mike relocated to SWFL from NY for its quality of life, but has a distributed team across the nation. More recently, the company closed its office in beautiful San Clemente, CA and has fully embraced remote work for its entire team. He will share about his own experience leading Finances in a business, personally going through multiple cycles of Mergers & Acquisitions, and finally share about the company's objectives in the manufacturing and distribution industries.
Glenn Shimkus is the co-founder and CEO of Prisidio, which offers a digital vault to securely collect, protect, and share your most important information with the key people in your life. He is a technology enthusiast and entrepreneur with nearly 30 years of experience building world-class teams and delivering exceptional products. Prior to founding Prisidio, he was the co-founder and CEO of Cartavi, which was acquired by DocuSign as their first acquisition. The Company’s product received significant industry recognition including the prestigious Edison Award for Innovative Services. In his role at DocuSign, Glenn helped the company become the standard in the real estate industry and expand beyond eSignatures. Glenn has also held leadership roles during his career at the National Association of REALTORS®, PLATINUM technology and Amdocs. He is a respected industry visionary in the fields of document/content management and mobile applications as well as an active advisor and investor in the startup community.
Wrapping up our panel will be a casual conversation with Matthew Dunham-Novoa, Managing Partner at Benevolent Capital Group, discussing navigating deal-making in uncertain times. While his fund just recently launched, Matthew also oversees Innovation and Technology at Linstol, an aerospace business from the Hoffman Family of Companies. He is passionate about entrepreneurship, innovation, and our great community in SWFL.
