Downham Games Careers Festival 2025

​If you have ever wondered what a career in the UK games sector looks like, the Downham Games Careers Festival is your first stop.

​This one-day FREE event features;

• ​20+ stalls from some of the UK's most well-known game developers, University games courses and training providers looking to support your journey into the sector

• ​A full programme of games career talks from a range of games development professionals on everything from building the level to how to make amazing audio for your games

• ​A 1-2-1 careers cafe for 15-minute chats with sector professionals about your career direction

• ​Entry-level workshops for people looking to develop their first game concept or learn to use game development engines

• ​Esports and playable games area with local London indie developers showcasing unreleased titles

​This event is aimed at people aged 16-30, but if you are younger (or older!), we still encourage you to attend, especially with your parents or carers.

​By the end of the event, you will have;

• ​A good plan for your next steps into the sector

• ​Understood what 'good' looks like

• ​The chance to sign up for further training and development courses based on your needs
