一起做本书：精装风琴折 x 楚乔 Book Binding Workshop: Hardcover Accordion Fold x Chuqiao Li

​这是一个书籍装帧工作坊。楚乔将介绍书籍装帧的简要历史、书籍装帧工具和术语、风琴折结构、书胶的和精装封面的制作。工作坊结束后，你将获得一本自己做的书/本子和一罐手工书胶。

​*零基础友好（但专业），有手就能教得会！

​*虽然工作坊将提供一切材料，但是如果你有想做封面或是内页的印刷品/绘画/纸张也欢迎带来，同时你也可以自带一个有盖的小罐子（比如小冰淇凌罐子）用来打包书胶回家

​The event is going to be a book binding workshop that includes a brief introduction to artist's books and bookbinding tools, accordion book structure demo, book glue making demo and hardcover demo. You will bring home a handmade hardcover accordion book and a jar of book glue.

​*This is a beginner friendly (but also professional) workshop!

​*Although Chuqiao will provide all the needed materials, participants are also welcomed to bring their own desired containers for book glue( it could be something like ice cream container) and prints/paper that they wish to transform into their book cover or content.

​关于楚乔：

​做艺术家书7年，教艺术家书4年，致力于用艺术家书链接社群，让更多有话想说的人在家就可以做书！2021年毕业于马里兰艺术学院版画系辅修Book Arts, 2024年获得哥伦比亚大学视觉艺术硕士学位。

​About Chuqiao:

​7 years of experience making artist's books, 4 years teaching it, aims to build communities with book making, to let more people who want to express themselves be able to make books at home! Chuqiao received her BFA in printmaking from MICA (2021) with a minor in Book Arts, and her MFA in Visual Arts from Columbia University (2024).
