About Ambassador Alami

Mohammad Alami Musa is Singapore’s Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria (Non-Resident). He is a member of Advisory panel of the African-Singapore Business Forum. He is also a Resource Person for religious harmony for Ministry of Home Affairs and sits on its Independent Review Panel. He is now an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) which resides in the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Mr Alami is the Chairman of Honour Singapore. He is also a Justice of Peace and sits on the Reformative Training and Rehabilitation Committee of the Singapore Prisons Service. Mr Alami is a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

Mohammad Alami Musa was the Head of Studies in Inter-Religious Relations in Plural Societies (SRP) Programme at RSIS of the Nanyang Technological University from 2013 to 2023. He served as the President of the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore from 2003 to August 2021. Mr Alami had been greatly involved in the Singapore Muslim Identity Project and actively promoted positive inter-religious relations in both Singapore and the region. Furthermore, Mr Alami was instrumental in setting up Singapore’s first Interreligious Harmony Centre. He is now Chairman of the Religious Leadership and Talent Development Committee which identifies and develops future apex Islamic leaders for Singapore.

Mr Alami was also active in civil society, being the founding Director of the Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP). Mr Alami was AMP’s Chairman from 1995 to 2003.

For his service to Singapore and society, he was conferred the Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) during the country’s 50th National Day celebrations in 2015. In the same year, he was also presented with the Award for Excellence by the Malay media Berita Harian in 2015.

Mr Alami’s area of research is in Islam and Secularism in Singapore. His areas of interest include issues surrounding religion in society, interreligious relations, religious based conflicts and dialogue. He actively authored op-ed pieces for the media, commentary pieces, book chapters working papers and articles. He is now publishing his book “Ascent Towards Pinnacle- Community Development and SIngapore Muslim Identity.

Mr Alami studied at the University of Singapore, where he obtained both his Bachelors and MSc degrees in Engineering. He was a civil/environmental engineer by training.


About Professor Edward

As an Associate Professor in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets, Prof Edward led the Asian Institute of Digital Finance (AIDF) in creation and curation of fintech courses. Jointly founded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, National Research Foundation and National University of Singapore, AIDF aspires to be a thought leader, a FinTech knowledge hub and an experimental site for developing digital financial technologies and for nurturing current and future FinTech researchers and practitioners in Asia.

Prof Edward served as an Associate Professor in UN Sustainable Development Goal Research Lab, United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and lectures in a  number of universities eg NTU, NUS, SMU in topics such as Sustainability and Venture Creation. He is also an Ex-Co Member of SGTech. Edward also serves as an industry panel member in Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Generative AI Enterprise Solutions Sandbox for SMEs.


About Sarah-Mae

Sarah-Mae handles a broad spectrum of legal matters and in particular, specialises in Family Law and Juvenile matters. Having also trained and worked in Melbourne, Australia for several years, Sarah-Mae offers a breadth of multi-jurisdictional experience to all the matters she handles. Sarah-Mae is particularly invested in family matters and offers a practical, collaborative and empathetic approach to all her cases.

Outside the law, Sarah-Mae is passionate about social justice and human rights. During her university days, she spent time at the United Nations (Geneva) and in Africa, working on causes that are close to her heart.

Vincent is a seasoned strategist and leadership advisor with a strong track record in guiding organisations through growth, transformation, and purpose-driven change.
