About Event

You probably heard about 'vibe coding' which means you can prompt an AI tool like ChatGPT, Replit, Copilot Claude to generate an application.

You might have even get your hands dirty by trying out a few of those tools to build your own app ideas.

Come to 'Hands-on Vibe coding for non-tech' session to get your hands more dirty by learning the art of prompting and building a real application.

Who is this session designed for?

This session is meant for anyone who don't have a tech background. You can be an operations specialist, marketing manager or financial executive at a company.

You have been using at least an AI tool for the past 6 months. You have a desire to build an app to scratch your own itch.

What we will be covering?

* The venue opens at 9am on Saturday 24th May. You are welcome to join us for coffee, mingle with the other participants.

* We start the workshop at 10am sharp.

* In the morning 10am - 12pm:

     * I will share how you structure the prompts to ask Replit to generate a landing page to market your service as an independent consultant e.g. CFO as a service. I will share with you the prompts you can follow through.

     * Next, I will move on to a nocode tool Softr.io as how you can prompt just one time to get the skeleton of the landing page and you continue perfect it by using the ready-made components to build a full fledge landing page with integration for email collection, some automation using MailerLite, Zapier etc

     * We wrap up the session in the morning with my co-instructor - Kyaw. He's a self made entrepreneur and engineer. He is the CEO of EventNook. He has been vibecoding for 3 months using Replit, ChatGPT and other AI tools to build many mini apps around his main app for event management e.g. facial recognition, customer support for customer inquiries.

* At noon, we do a lunch break from 12 - 1:30pm outside the venue

* We come back around 1:30pm to work on the exercise. We will give you some ideas you can try e.g. build a feature of Dall-E app, Calendly app, a personal fitness assistant, a personal finance app ec

* Around 2:30pm - you share the app you have built with the classmates for feedback.

* We wrap up around 3:30pm.
