​Meryeme Lahmami

​Principal, Pender Ventures

​Based in Montreal, Meryeme joined Pender in 2022, bringing over seven years of experience in healthcare and enterprise software, both as an operator and investor.

​Before joining Pender, Meryeme most recently worked at BDC Capital’s Women In Tech Venture Fund, where she led investments for multiple early-stage / growth companies across biotech, enterprise software and digital health. Prior to BDC Capital, Meryeme was at Medteq where she solely focused on early-stage investments in digital health, diagnostics and medical device companies.

​Meryeme started her career as a consultant in bio-based products and wearables before she co-founded a venture-backed health-tech startup building a contactless vital signs monitoring platform, where she oversaw product, operations and business development.

​She is active in the startup community and is a mentor at the Founder Institute, Techstars AI and other Montreal-based incubators and accelerators.

​Meryeme holds an MBA from Laval University. She hails from Morocco where she was a high-level athlete competing at an international level.
