Spring Clothing Swap Party at DRAMA BAR
We're back with a bang after a break, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome the spring season with open arms and a fabulous new clothing swap party!
Brace yourself for a dazzling sunday filled with glitz, glamour, and a whole lot of fabulousness at Drama Bar.
Join us at our clothing swap with our invited STYLIST GUEST @Tandy_3000, who epitomizes the highest form of artistry in the scene, transforming your wardrobe into a haven of flamboyant fashion and extravagant ensembles. With her playful and fun approach, she'll not only help you find pieces that flatter you but also make the entire process a delightful experience.
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
Clothing Drop-off Instructions: Drop off up to 6 pieces by the 5th of April (deadline) at @ThankyoumamaCafé. Be sure to include your name, phone number, and email on the clothes bag for identification purposes.
Points System: Your items will be evaluated based on various factors such as retail price, brand, fabric quality, garment condition, and current trends. Points will be assigned accordingly. If any item does not meet our criteria, you can either reclaim it during the swap or we'll happily facilitate its donation on your behalf.
Late Entry Tickets: We'll offer discounted late entry tickets for guests who prefer to join the swap event an hour later. Entry will be allowed only after the specified late ticket time.
Point Notification: The day before the swap, you'll receive a notification detailing the number of points you've earned.
Additional Points Purchase: If you find something you love but lack sufficient points, extra points can be purchased at the event.
Point Rollover: Any remaining points will be saved for future events.
Ticket Holders: If you've purchased a ticket but couldn't drop off your pieces on time, you can still join the event.
Note: make sure to drop a maximum of 6 pieces. If you wish to contribute more, we greatly appreciate it, and pieces will be considered a donation. Regardless pieces will be rated according to our point system.

How does the point system work?
The point system assigns value to each clothing item based on factors like retail price, brand, quality of fabric, garment condition, and trendiness. Participants earn points for the items they contribute, which can then be used to "purchase" new pieces during the swap. It's like turning your clothes into currency!
Can men also participate in the swap? Yes, men are absolutely welcome to participate! In fact, our community embraces diversity and inclusivity, and we encourage people of all genders and identities to join us. We do require at least 10 men interested in participating to guarantee a selection of clothing for them as well. If you wish to participate as a man, please send us a message directly first to express your interest. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment where everyone can find garments they love, regardless of gender or identity. We look forward to having you join us!
Can I spend my points later if I don't find anything I like at the event?
Yes! Any remaining points can be saved and used at future swap events. So even if you don't find the perfect piece this time, you can still put your points to good use later on.
How many items can I bring to swap?
Participants can bring up to 6 pieces of clothing to swap. If you wish to contribute more, we greatly appreciate it, and additional items will be considered donations.
What type of clothing items are accepted for swapping?
We accept a wide range of clothing items, including tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear and accessories (upon approval) Please ensure that items are clean, in good condition, and suitable for swapping.
What if I can't make it to drop off my items before the deadline?
If you're unable to drop off your items before the deadline, you can still join the event. However, we will not be able to count the points on the day. You can always join and buy points at the swap.
What if I do not have pieces to add to the swap? No problem, you can still join the swap, enjoy the day to meet other community members and if you bump into something you love you can purchase points at the event.
Terms & Conditions:
By purchasing a ticket and participating in Lender Community's swaps, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Ticket Policy:
Tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise specified by Lender Community's event organizers.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the event may be eligible for a transfer to the next swap event free of charge.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the event will result in the ticket holder forfeiting their ticket without the option of a transfer.
We kindly request your understanding regarding the 48-hour notice requirement for cancellations. This timeframe allows us the opportunity to try and resell the ticket to another participant. As ticket sales are the source that cover all expenses associated with organizing the event, your cooperation in providing timely notice is greatly appreciated. In the event that we are unable to resell the ticket within this timeframe, it results in a double booking scenario impacting our budget for future events.
Clothing Contribution Policy:
Participants may contribute a maximum of 6 clothing pieces for the swap event.
Any additional pieces beyond the maximum of 6 will be considered donations to the swap. Points will be assigned according to our point system, but these points will not be earned by the owner to maintain fairness for all participants. These items will not be returned unless notified by the owner prior to the swap event.
Refund Policy:
Lender Community does not offer cash refunds for ticket purchases or clothing contributions.
Eligibility of Clothing Pieces:
Clothing pieces that do not meet the eligibility criteria for the swap, such as being in poor condition or not aligning with our quality standards, will be automatically donated.
Lender Community reserves the right to determine the eligibility of clothing pieces for the swap.

Donation Policy:
Any clothing pieces donated to the swap event cannot be returned to the original owner, unless notified prior to the swap event.
Notification Requirement:
In the event of cancellation or a request to transfer a ticket to the next swap, participants must provide notification at least 48 hours prior to the event.
Fair Use Policy:
Lender Community aims to ensure fairness and transparency for all participants. Any attempts to manipulate or abuse the terms and conditions outlined may result in the participant being barred from future events.
Event Organizers' Discretion:
Lender Community's event organizers reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions as necessary and to exercise discretion in handling any issues or disputes that may arise during the event.
Agreement to Terms:
By purchasing a ticket and participating in Lender Community's Drag Closet Extravaganza, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
