About Event

In January, a friend of mine mentioned the Dragon Day protocol in a conversation we had (funny enough it was related to Ness Labs). Dragon Days? 🤔 A system that gives you 11 (!) productive hours in a single day, many of them reaching flow-state. He never did one himself but forwarded me an unattributed picture of the protocol via WhatsApp. It looked pretty intimidating...

It's in German but I guess you get the idea:

  • get up at 4:30am, go outside, have a cold shower, be at your desk at 5:00am

  • 3x 55 minutes with 5min breaks of breathing and exercises

  • 1-hour break with moderate exercise and a bulletproof coffee

  • another 3-hour block with 2 breaks

  • 1-hour break for a simple lunch

  • 2 hours work with 1 break

  • 2-hour break with optional high-intensity exercise

  • another 3-hour work block to finish things off

It sounds scary but - at least to my ears - also very intriguing. If you know me, I like to give things like this a try. So I did... 💪

It turned out even more effective than I expected!

Not only did I get enormous amounts of work done and dipped multiple times into flow (forgetting to check the clock and passing the set boundaries) but it also felt surprisingly good. It was not at all straining. I even had more than 10.000 steps of exercise on my watch.

It sounds strange to say that, but it even felt a little like wellness or vacation to me. Probably also because I didn't have any distractions from the outside world.

From then on I continued to do Dragon Day's on a weekly basis, mostly on Saturdays. By now I have done more than 10+ Dragon Days 🔥 and learned quite a bit about the details. About what makes a day work well and what jeopardizes the experiences. I did some longer and some shorter days, etc.

So I think it's time to share it with you here 🤗✨ I wouldn't be surprised if that is also your cup of tea.

I'll be offering two sessions: one Asia friendly at 6am my time (4am UTC) and one US friendly at 6pm my time (4pm UTC).

As you may have guessed by the time, I'll be doing these workshops on my next Dragon Day on Saturday, May 1st.

Please register for the session at Luma, to allow me to plan better the logistics 🙂

Hope to see you there

Achim

PS: I later learned that the protocol was published by this German biohacker. I haven't reached out to him yet but I will do to share my feedback with him.
