Trust in AI heavily depends on the ability of scientific, industrial, and institutional actors to credibly ensure the safety and security of its uses. Defining evaluation standards for AI represents a significant lever for developing this trust and ensuring a minimal generalized safety and security level.
With the growing number of AI Safety Institutes created by countries around the world, harmonizing how AI systems are evaluated internationally becomes crucial to avoid fragmentation.
