Building Mobile and Wearable Health Technology in Flutter
Are you [considering] creating cross-platform mobile health apps in Flutter?
Then, visit DTU Skylab to hear what DTU is doing to create software components and infrastructure for new mobile and wearable health technology.
We will present and demo our different open-source technologies, including:
Flutter plugins for building health apps, like the health plugin [https://pub.dev/packages/health]
Components for collecting data from smartphones and wearable sensors (like GPS and ECG)
Flutter package for collecting user-reported data like surveys and questionnaires
Flutter package for running cognitive tests
Standard data collecting app for running clinical trials
Standard cloud-based infrastructure for managing studies and collecting data
All of these components are developed and maintained as open source, and students, entrepreneurs, start-ups, clinical researchers, and others who want to build or use mobile and wearable sensing technology can join the projects and help grow the technology for the common good.
The technology is available as part of the Copenhagen Research Platform (CARP) [www.carp.dk] and all our Flutter plugins are available on pub.dev [https://pub.dev/publishers/cachet.dk/packages]
We will have several presentations with a lot of examples and a set of demos running in parallel.
We invite you to join this event, whether you are new to mobile sensing technology or a pro. Join us to learn, ask questions, share knowledge, network, and have snacks and drinks.
