Jen Tomski is a content creator and entrepreneur based in Edmonton and brings working experience from many industries, including food, travel, beauty, real estate and tech. She has a passion for supporting the community through social media, whether using her personal channels, @thatsreallyjen or directly helping businesses manage and create content for their own channels through her company, Kai Communications. Jen is well-versed in all things social media and always staying on top of new trends; she has grown her personal social media to a collective audience of over 75,000 on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube by highlighting new & exciting things happening in and around Edmonton.

Marina Eckert, Affiliate and Community Lead, Poppy Barley

Marina Eckert is a U of A alumni and the Affiliate and Community Lead at Poppy Barley, a Canadian sustainable accessory and apparel brand. Based in Edmonton, she is passionate about fostering connections and building a thriving community for Poppy Barley. Her work in this space involves influencer campaign management, reporting, and collaborating with businesses and creators who share the value of sustainable and ethical fashion.

Umair Tazeem, Founder & CEO, Embold

Umair Tazeem is the Founder and CEO of Embold, a Calgary-based influencer marketing platform that specializes in connecting Canadian brands and agencies with a curated network of influencers. Since launching in 2018, Embold has supported hundreds of brands to collaborate with their roster of 9,000+ Canadian influencers. Before founding Embold, Umair gained entrepreneurial experience in the advertising sector, further equipping him to meet the unique challenges of today's digital landscape. In addition to leading Embold, he is an active mentor to startups and a contributing member of the startup community.

Karly Polkosnik, CEO, Influencer, Your Girl Karly Inc., Content Creator (@yourgirlkarly)

Karly is a lifestyle influencer and entrepreneur from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with a collective audience of 500k+ across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Karly works to break down stigmas around our bodies and strives for inclusivity as a Black, LGBTQ creator. On TikTok, Karly has amassed millions of viral views on her self-love videos. As a multi-six-figure business owner, Karly is known for sharing financial transparency, business tips, and advice on how she got to where she is now. Her podcast, Hey Bitches, is a 3x award-nominated Sexuality podcast in Canada.
