Roundtable on effectively and efficiently deploying carbon finance into developing countries in ways that benefit nature and people
Join the Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market and WWF for an exclusive roundtable discussion examining the pivotal role of voluntary carbon markets (VCMs) in mobilising climate finance for developing countries and local communities. Hosted at COP29 in the WWF Pavilion (Blue Zone), this session offers a unique platform for NGOs and key stakeholders engaged in community-centred climate initiatives.
Through collaborative dialogue, we will explore strategic approaches and frameworks to ensure that VCMs are effectively leveraged to advance sustainable development goals, while addressing the specific needs and priorities of diverse communities.
The roundtable will follow Chatham house rules. There will be a networking session after the roundtable.
This form is an expression of interest only - the roundtable is open to those who represent an NGO or who work closely with NGOs. We will confirm invites shortly after expressions of interests are received.
