8-Week Eight pieces of Brocade/BaDuanJin Wellness Bootcamp

1/4 - 2/22 Sat 9:00am - 10:00am

The course introduces Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese practice focused on improving health through gentle movements, breathwork, and mindfulness. Over eight weeks, participants will learn the eight foundational movements of Baduanjin, each targeting specific body areas to enhance flexibility, circulation, and balance. The program emphasizes proper posture, alignment, and breathing techniques, promoting physical and mental well-being. Suitable for all fitness levels, the course provides step-by-step instructions for gradual progression into this ancient mind-body exercise system.

About coach

Shaohe Chi is the Founder, Chairman, and Head Coach of the China Shandong Yang ChengFu Taiji Club and a fifth-generation heir of Yang Style Tai Chi. Recognized as a Tai Chi Master in California, he was recorded in the Encyclopedia of Chinese Tai Chi. Chi currently serves as a professor and Associate Dean at the College of Taiji, Qigong, and Therapeutic Wu-Shu at the University of East-West Medicine. He is also a co-founder, Executive Dean, and Head Coach of the Yang ChengFu Taiji Academy of America.

 

邵绍和老师,中国山东杨澄甫式太极拳俱乐部创始人、主席兼总教练,杨式太极拳第五代传人。曾被加州授予“太极大师”称号,录入《中国太极拳大百科》。现任美西大学太极气功学院教授、副院长,并参与创立美洲杨澄甫太极学院,担任执行院长和总教练。此外,他也是北加州第93届中医节的联合主席。
