(Ad)venture Breakfast was started by Darya Kamkalova, founder of Venturing Women, a platform for emerging and early-stage female founders and investors of all genders.
Now, the meetup is led by Alessio Tondo and John Kealy, two distinct personalities with a shared mission: to create a space where sharp minds connect, exchange ideas, and grow through genuine conversation.
👤 Alessio Tondo
An Italian entrepreneur who moved to the UK 17 years ago, in 2010, I founded Gladstay, a rent-to-rent business based in London, and that turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, despite all the challenges that come with running something on your own.
Years in London taught me something simple: life’s too short to chase money under a grey sky. That’s why I moved to Gran Canaria, for the lifestyle, for space to think, and to grow my business with more clarity and direction.
For me, entrepreneurship wasn’t just a career, it saved my life.
And now, I want to be surrounded by other entrepreneurs who build, take risks, and don’t wait for permission.
This group is about that. A space for people who think clearly, act with purpose, and aren’t afraid to challenge themselves and each other.

An Irish entrepreneur still finding my way in business, I run Kealy Studio, where I help founders get their mobile and web applications to market.
Leaving behind contract work in favour of something that's truly mine has been a tough road, and although there are still many challenges to face, joining groups like the (Ad)venture Breakfast has been so positive and helpful – I'm so glad to be able now to give back a little and help out with the hosting!
