ABOUT DIM SPIRIT

Dim Spirit is the alias of Joel Dunkels, a multidisciplinary artist hailing from Umeå, Sweden. After a decade of collaborating with other musicians in different constellations (plus fronting synth-pop outfit Caotico), he made the decision to step away from industry pressure to simply “find the correct sound” - and through this reset and the following artistic evolution Dunkels released his solo debut "Clear Recent History” in 2021 via YEAR0001.
