XR Talks:
Maruša Levstek, a UX researcher and Research Fellow in Technology and Culture, and Andy Woods, a creative technologist and senior lecturer, combine expertise in immersive user research, psychology, and inclusive multisensory design to advance storytelling and the creative technologies. Their talk "Multisensory Storytelling in VR: Crafting Deeper Presence for Audiences"
Ekaterina Solomatina - a multidisciplinary digital artist focused on community-driven mixed-reality storytelling. She will share her latest work-in-progress XR piece, created for the Belfast City Council's "Augment the City" programme.
Matt Ratcliffe - previous Founder of Masters of Pie. Walking through 10 years of the studios XR work in healthcare, manufacturing, CAD and defence.
Clorama Dorvilias - Product Manager (ex-Meta Reality Labs and ex-Google XR), collaborating with teams to make immersive tech more intuitive, inclusive, and impactful. Her talk "Lessons Learned Building XR at Scale: Insights from Big Tech to Indie Innovation".
Tech demos:
Anastasia Georgievskaya, CEO of Scientient, will demo their wearable technology for adding scents to XR for a truly immersive experience.
Teslasuit CEO George Campbell will bring Teslasuit's jacket and glove to demo.
Pierre-Francois Gerard, CTPO at Immersionn, will show their latest MR tabletop experience.
Roy Rodenaheuser, a London-based Creative Technologist, will showcase Slice-AR - an interactive AR visualization tool that transforms how we explore 3D medical imaging data.
Piotr Nierobisz of Munchingsquare and Holycircuit studio will show two demos: interactive AI persona and an MR floral sculpture.
"YOUNG STORM" by UCL students Hu, Mingyang; Wang, Sirui; Xie, Siqi telling the story a young American storm chaser who survives a near-fatal encounter with a violent storm
"Transcendence: Rhythm of Axé" by UCL students Nina Todres, Isaac Irvine, Jia Zijing, offers a reflective journey through dance, memory, and balance in Brazil's Candomblé.
