Showcase of Bavarian traditional Trachten culture in Virtual Reality.
This event will introduce the Digital Fashion Lab project, which takes place in the digital world of Spatial.io. Visitors will first create their own avatar using Ready Player Me, then step into a virtual reality space to experience the Digital Fashion Lab project first-hand.
Participants will meet the team behind this environment and will learn how this environment and its content has been created with a short q&a.:

This will be followed by a conversation about the potential of digital fashion in virtual environments for companies.

The project focuses on exploring digital fashion using platforms like Ready Player Me and Spatial.io. Specifically, it delves into Bavarian traditional tracht culture, aiming to document and preserve this heritage. During this project, training for both local and international designers and developing prototypes will be provided with modern technologies.
The project is part of the MUNICH CREATIVE BUSINESS WEEK (MCBW) 2024 and sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development & Energy and Bayern Design GmbH.
