Accelerate Durham

​Nobellum, in partnership with the Town of Ajax, is proud to announce the Accelerate Durham Pitch, a groundbreaking Innovathon designed to empower Black entrepreneurs in the Durham region. This exciting in-person event will take place on February 15, 2024, from 1–6 PM, and aims to provide innovative startups with the resources, exposure, and support they need to succeed.

​With a $10,000 prize at stake, this event will showcase the brightest ideas in STEM and foster a supportive community for Black founders and innovators. Attendees can expect a day of inspiration, networking, and a tradeshow organized by All BLK Market. You won't want to miss this celebration of entrepreneurship and innovation.

​Applicant Criteria:

• ​Ethnicity: The lead applicant must identify as Black.

• ​Lead applicant must reside in Durham Region

• ​Leadership Role: The lead applicant must be a Founder or Co-founder of the company.

• ​STEM Integration: The business model must utilize Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math.

• ​Development Stage: Generating revenue under $100,000
