Free FIlm Screenings with San Diego Environmental Film Festival

​Join San Diego Green Drinks and the San Diego Environmental Film Festival (SDEFF) on Thursday, June 26th! We are hosting a free evening of networking and two short film screenings from previous SDEFF showings: Cigarette Cycle by Nicholas Matthew Vaky and We Are Nature by Nathan Minatta .

​About Cigarette Cycle: shows the life cycle of a cigarette butt. How it travels from your mouth to the ocean and back into your mouth.

​About We Are Nature: a short film narrated by freedive educator ‪Oliver Christian-Drew that delves into the profound connection between humanity and the natural world, and how the sport of freediving is a bridge that cannot help but pull the two together.

​​​WHEN: Thursday, June 26th, 2025 from 6 - 8 pm.

​​About Green Drinks:
San Diego Green Drinks (SDGD) is a monthly networking group for professionals or individuals interested in the sustainability field. We typically meet on the third Thursday of each month at a local bar to discuss different environmental issues with a speaker followed by open networking. These events are casual, drinking is optional, and anyone interested is encouraged to attend.
