About Event

A rare once in 580 years longest partial Lunar eclipse in sensuous earthy Taurus is conjunct to Fixed Star Algol, the famed Medusa's head.

Lunar Eclipses affect and can alter our unconscious memories, freeing us up from shadows and fears. A Taurus eclipse is sensual and relates to beauty, physical pleasure, luxury, money, music and the throat chakra.

The eclipse will be visible later this evening from around midnight November 19 to 6:00 am in Toronto, throughout North America, Mexico and most of the world which will be directly affected. I am hoping for clear skies but we will feel the effects of the eclipse.

We take the opportunity to reclaim Medusa's beauty and Amazon warrioress status from the Patriarchal myths. Medusa was not a Gorgon monster but a beautiful powerful strong WOC, Libyan woman.

Lunar Eclipses are times for purification according to Hindu and Tibetan Buddhists. It's best to chant mantras during them because the effects are magnified 100,000 times.

There are a lot of conversations and energy going on with the planets. which will be part of the PowerPoint.

SPECIAL MUSICAL GUEST: Michael Moon

Musician, sound healer, composer, and mystic who will be singing and playing and leading us in chants and mantras.

I will lead a guided meditation after we chant.

The actual lunar eclipse is on Friday, November 19 at 3:57 am EST Toronto at totality. The eclipse lasts 6 hours!. Get ready to pull an all-nighter. There are specific preparations involved.

The workshop will be recorded if you can't make it to the live event.
