​This workshop will convene key stakeholders to discuss state of art and practice regarding methods to assess the safety of culture media in cultivated meat and seafood production. Participants will identify critical challenges, explore the path forward to standardise methods, highlight alternative approaches for further investigation, and discuss opportunities for collaboration/ co-development.  

This workshop is part of the Cultivated Meat Safety Initiative and is organised by Multus in collaboration with Aberytswyth University, and workshop organizers Bezos Centre at Imperial College, Austrian Centre of Industrial Biotechnology (acib), Good Food Institute (GFI), New Harvest/FEASTS, Hoxton Farms, Ivy Farm, Qkine, RSSL and Vireo Advisors.
