About the Techstars Detroit Program
There are two virtual options for this event to accommodate time zones. Investors and business development partners will have the opportunity to hear each founder pitch in rotation and network at a higher level in breakout rooms.
In September 2022, we officially launched Techstars Detroit Powered by J.P. Morgan, a 13-week virtual/hybrid accelerator open to all industries and all founders globally. Techstars’ $80M fund raised through the J.P. Morgan Private Bank will run 37 accelerator programs across nine multicultural U.S. cities. Detroit is part of the 9-city initiative focused on creating opportunities for wealth creation among a diversified range of founders, often constrained by institutional, structural, and systemic barriers.
Detroit’s unyielding nature and investments turned a re-emerging entrepreneurial community into a statewide powerhouse. Similarly, the founders in our program, who come from all over the globe, exhibit this exact unyielding nature that has allowed them to build ventures that will disrupt their respective industries in AI, Beauty, FinTech, Future of Work, Logistics, Media, PropTech, and Wellness.
