Design Driven NYC: A New Generation of Creators with Packy McCormick from Not Boring

​For July's edition of Design Driven NYC, we're incredibly excited to welcome Packy McCormick, the Founder of Not Boring for a fireside chat with FirstMark’s Adam Nelson!

​Packy McCormick: Packy is the Founder of the Not Boring Club, including the Not Boring newsletter which is a community of over 50,000 subscribers. Not Boring is the most fun way to learn about what’s going on in business and the strategy behind the decisions companies make. The newsletter includes deep dives on large public companies and broader trends, as well as investment memos and deep dives on startups. Packy has written insightful analyses on some of the most iconic companies in tech and beyond including Twitter, Robinhood, Alibaba, Slack, and many more. Prior to founding Not Boring, Packy was VP of Experience at Breather, and started his career in investment banking at BAML.

​Adam Nelson: Packy will be interviewed by Adam Nelson, Partner at FirstMark. Prior to joining the firm, Adam spent nearly a decade in Silicon Valley, most recently as a Partner at Social Capital where he focused on early stage venture investing in enterprise SaaS and marketplaces. Before Social Capital, Adam was an early employee at Dropbox where he built and scaled Dropbox’s Partner Network and Revenue Partnerships teams. Adam started his career in investment banking and private equity at Merrill Lynch and Lindsay Goldberg, respectively.
