​We rely on Uncle Sam for many public goods, but is there a better way?  

​DeSci is a decentralized scientific ecosystem using web3 to enhance collaboration, promote integrity, increase funding, and empower scientists. 🚀🔬 We believe that current economic and governance systems are inadequate for solving the biggest global challenges we face today, including climate change and early scientific research.

​We bring researchers, builders, and the vibrant SF community together to foster collaboration at the intersection of tech and science. We'll be joined by hackers from our Wiki x AI Hackathon

​Join us for a social evening of light talks, music, and refreshments. If Uncle Sam left you feeling a little poorer, we're here with free food and drinks (both alcohol and not) and music to top it off🍻

Daytime: Wiki AI Hackathon and RetroPGF talks. 
6pm: Bar opens. 
7pm: Quick talks from Juan Benet (Founder of Protocol Labs), Sam Klein (Wikipedia), and several scientists from the community.
7:20 until late: More food and drinks with a special DJ.
